for info on my gr gr-grparents, Francis
O’Brien & Catherine Murphy. Cannot find info on any passenger
lists, but they came from County Wexford, Ireland, around 1855; accompanied by
her mother, Muddy
Murphy, her sister & brother-in-law, Anne Murphy & Michael Kenny. In the 1861 Census they are
listed on Abbott Street in B;ville. They died ca 1865, buried in the
Catholic Cemetery in B’ville. Apparently a flat tombstone had their
names on it. Would be most grateful for any assistance.

for info on Jane Wilkins (formerly Allen)
born 9th March 1848 in Over Cambridgeshire UK. Marr to Charles
Wilkins born 4th April 1848, Over Cambridgeshire. Marr 9th July 1870
Cambridgeshire. Jane emig to Canada in 1909. Have copies of passenger lists
which record she arrived in Montreal.

Over Cambridgeshire, marr Frances Green
Dec 1896; emig to Canada in 1907 again arr at Montreal. They later set up
home in B’ville poss ca 1909 but 1911 census shows George,
his wife & children living with Jane
Wilkins (Allen) in this area. George's children were George
Joseph Wilkins b 1897 in UK; d June 15 1917 in France, Alice Wilkins b 1901, Florence
Jane Wilkins b Dec 1903 & Charles
Robert Wilkins b Feb 1906. Believe
another of Jane's sons Earnest also
emig to same area. Jane is my gr,
gr grmoth. Would love to hear from
anyone with any info about Jane or the Wilkins family at that time or now.
