Recently the Library/Archives has taken on a new look.  A number of new filing cabinets have been added, along with a new desk and table.  This, with the rearrangement of the machines, makes the room more user friendly and gives the appearance of more space.

The Branch has just purchased the following land records which compliment Sandra Wunder's book, Grenville County land Record Index circa 1790-1850 as follows:

Johnstown District Land Book    A-C        1797-1807

Johnstown District Land Book    D-E         1807-1812

Johnstown District Land Book    F-G         1813-1820

Johnstown District Land Book    H-I          1820-1815

Grenville County Land Book        A            1822-1825

Grenville County Land Book        B-C        1825-1831

Grenville County Land Book        D-E         1831-1834

Grenville County Land Book        F-G         1834-1838

Grenville County Land Book        H-I          1838-1841

Grenville County Land Book        J-K         1841-1847

'New' filing cabinets have been purchased.

Cabinet 1 on the north wall backing on the stairs contains the pedigree files, queries, vertical files and stationery.
